Tao Porchon- Lynch...

So I thank you all for sticking with me and my sporadic posting. I'm gonna have a bit more time on my hands so have a feeling this'll become more regular...

Today I wanted to post about Tao Porchon-Lynch, 92 years old. Read the link I've attached and you'll see why I felt the need. This isn't about what she's doing (although it's amazing), but just the fact that she's not taken the path we all think we will take at 92. I'm going to go right ahead and say 'packing it in', because by that age so many do just that. We are told what our bodies are capable of and for how long, and give in to our 'limits' without pushing through them.

Anyway this has really made me look at growing older differently, and inspired me to take care of myself. Hopefully it'll do the same for you too :) I wish i could do what she does and I'm 25! Ha

That's right! Time is not years and minutes. It doesn't matter how many days you've spent here in this body :) it won't grow old until you let it. Everything starts in our minds. I'm glad you've made this decision! It makes me feel really happy, because I think exactly the same way and especially because I do your part (voice over) in Russian translation of "Make it or break it" ))it's good to realize we're on the same vibe!

Chelsea,

I have found that as one grows older, ones image of self stops changing, but our actual self may change alot, unnoticed. It can be a shock to see how far one has drifted from what one wants to be. The story of Porchon-Lynch is impressive. But so are you. You are inspiring. Your body, mind, and spirit are beautiful. When I watched you on MIOBI, I was intrigued, and as I learned more about you I was inspired to improve myself. I started to excercise, made over my appearance, and am paying more attention to what is going on in the world today. I feel so much better about myself, and now maybe I will even start doing Yoga again! I'm only 52, I have time to become a master!
The key is: don't become blind to life
