Wanna know your thoughts...

....on this article. I, for one, am naturally very thin and was actually teased about it as a child. After having my children I filled out and carry any weight I gain in my butt! I'm proud of it and the day I grew hips and filled out was a happy day for me. If I don't work out or eat right I don't feel good about myself, if I do then I focus less on what size I am and feel good because I'm healthy. I would rather be healthy on the inside and be a bigger jean size than be scary skinny because I'm not eating right or working out. Being skinny and flabby doesn't feel good to me. Being fuller and maybe more muscular and toned makes me feel great. So I think we should focus less on size and more on what you are doing to make you the size you are. Be your natural you, your healthy you and whatever size that is, so be it! You will probably feel amazing if you know you are doing what you can to take care of your might body and soul!

Now here's that article that sparked this:

I agree with you on this one. I too am naturally thin, got teased in school, and scared my parents who thought I had an eating problem. Now I too have the any extra weight in my butt an hips issue. I think everyone needs to do what is best for them and what makes them feel good about themselves. I don't know anyone who feels good about being a couch potato. You feel good when you get up and exercise. Doesn't mean you have to starve yourself to look like a model. As long as you are getting up and doing what you can to make yourself feel good. If you feel good about your weight then that should be enough, whatever size you are. You know what is healthy for you. I don't know about anyone else, but buying jeans has now become extreamly disappointing. I swear they make sizes smaller now. I weigh the same and can't fit into the size I used to. Its like they want you to think you gained weight so you need to thin down to wear that size again. And the stretch jeans... forget about it. They stretch like a chinese finger-trap! You can only fit into them if you are a size 00, and thats even when you are trying on 3 sizes bigger than normal! With that said, our house does not, and never has even own a scale. I get a lot of weird looks when I tell people that. But how I feel and how I see myself is my own weight measurement. If I feel good then thats all that matters. Im not trying to be pencil thin. And the models in magazines all look a little better with a little more weight. I don't think that anyone will buy those clothes that they see draped over skin and bones. It just doesn't look good, or realistic.

Well, I used to be skinny too. My mother feared I had anorexia then.

Recently, I looked you up on google -i'm a fan of yours from Nigeria- & I liked how you looked, having had two children. You have a perfect body.
I am currently pregnant with my first & I sincerely hope my body size doesn't double after child-birth.
Thanks for the blog.

Your figure is amazing when you were slim. I never knew a person to make fun of someone with a slim figure. I am sorry you went through that.

However, being a mother is a super-awesome thing. Are you thinking about acting again?
